The luxurious decor was excellent, but the tiny room left much to be desired.

The grounds were amazing, enhancing the overall atmosphere. Breakfast served in a hamper included delectable chocolate croissants and plenty of food for both breakfast and lunch. While the house is magnificent, the room felt a bit dated, which detracted from the otherwise fine stay.

We had a truly magical night enjoying a music and food event in the gorgeous gardens, and the peaceful vibe after visiting hours was just the cherry on top. The lovely walking paths and cozy seating areas made it easy to unwind and soak up the beauty around us. My only minor gripe was that the shower could've been better, but honestly, it did not take away from our overall experience! 🌸

The picturesque gardens were a highlight, providing a magical ambiance, especially during evenings. Room service for breakfast was a unique touch, although the facilities are somewhat limited, lacking a pool or gym. Still, the luxurious experience made it worth the higher price.

The gardens were expansive and offered something unique in the evening when the day visitors departed. We especially appreciated the option to dine outdoors with an enchanting atmosphere.
The limited facility options were a drawback. There was no gym or pool, and the menu at the restaurant had few choices for dietary restrictions.

Really good Dining and Beautiful Gardens
Having access to the fine gardens after hours added an enchanting touch to our evening. The staff were genuinely helpful. A slightly more extensive menu could elevate the overall dining experience.

The Standard King Room, while charming, felt cramped for the price range-£300+ should come with a bit more breathing space. The overhead shower lacked power, only dribbling water despite its size, though the handheld option performed well. Dining options are quite limited if you haven't booked a Michelin tasting in advance, leaving residents without a smaller à la carte selection, which feels like a missed opportunity.

Magical stay with really good food
Staying here was a magical experience, especially with the beautiful gardens all to ourselves in the evening. We enjoyed the really good breakfast served in a hamper, so plentiful we had leftovers for lunch too. The house and grounds are magnificent. The room decor could use some modernization for an even better experience.
